Paul Humes

This week on the pod we are joined by Paul Humes. Paul is a dad to one, husband, the founder of Wild Nature Play and the Program Director for Thorne Nature Experience.

Paul started us out with a great Today’s Dad definition that compared being a Today’s Dad with starting at a beer wall and having to discern what you want to drink. There are so many options or ways of doing things that it isn’t always an easy choice.

We had a great chat with Paul about why he created Wild Nature Play, his hopes for it, how his travels around the world helped to shape him as a parent, and his thoughts on Covid’s impact on our kids and educators (he has an Elementary Ed. degree, which made him a great Today’s Dad to have this convo with). A big thanks to Paul for joining us on the pod this week! Happy 2021 everyone!
